Re: CMO Lieutenant Velina Tailor

Pontificating and judgement was for the captains and admirals — I quite liked that line. She can leave it to them, but she has to deal with the consequences, so it's back to work. Nice little peek into her thoughts!

Re: SCI Lt. Commander T'Lira

It's nice to see the story behind how our officers learn some of the tricks they come up with to defy the odds. Good one!

Re: SCI Lieutenant JG Linxi Jude

It's good to see those two getting along, and even better to see people still watching cat videos in the late 24th century! Now, as the major said, there's a certain matter of a giant Kvolir woman... Nice one, you two!

Re: MED Lieutenant JG Emily Acacia

What an emotional treatment of the potential issues with all of the half-this/half-that/a third this characters that are so casually strewn throughout the Trek fandom! Using a Vulcan judge that Emily's father gets through to was a nice touch in a well-written log. Great work!

Command After Hours: Down, But Not Out

Re: MED Lieutenant JG Emily Acacia

This is simply fantastic. From the wonderful description of the futuristic medical imager, to Acacia's handling of Grey's hangups, to the ominous foreshadowing at the end, absolutely stellar. Wonderful log, you two!

Re: MED Lieutenant JG Emily Acacia

What a wonderful, detailed description of the surgery and her feelings toward having to perform it. I quite liked the extra care to prevent Riley from losing hair. Bravo!

Re: SCI Lt. Commander T'Lira

It's good to see an account of this from the bridge, along with a nice logical dissection of it. The interludes of advice from her supporting cast are a nice touch!

Re: TAC2 2LT Ryleigh Grey

I enjoyed the account of this scene from Ryleigh's perspective, and the imagery at the end of the blood darkening her hair is nicely vivid. Good thing for us both that we have a great medical staff!

What a wonderful reaction from Kuari, and a well-written one, too! I especially liked the ending. This is your XO, folks!
