Thinking about it now, maybe linking the transcript archives to the website so that players don't need to bother you for the link if they need to catch up on transcripts or something.

Ooh, Babs, between us, we probably have the medical guide sorted already! Awesome!

Sounds like it! :-)
Let me know how we can coordinate that - meanwhile, I've gotta clean the file up a bit.. at the moment it's a big pile of notes :D

If James is game for a whole series, then, I'm game to get cracking on the med one soon!

Welp, I guess that's our first suggestion on its way!

We'll kick it off with the Medical one, we can throw one up for Navigation, Operations, Engineering, Tactical, etc. It'll be good stuff! Maybe start with a general overview, areas of purview and that sort of thing, then break it down into a few specifics like treating burns, or repairing broken bones, etc?

I was totally on board with this guide thing, like "Oh yay, that will help me so much!" until you said the department heads would be writing it, and then my thoughts changed to "Oh no, now everyone will know that I have no idea what I'm doing..."

Science Field Guide: Run scans and perform analysis... somehow? Do, uh, lab tests? Perform... calculations... with the Computer? Um, calibrate things? And stuff?

Ops Field Guide: Do communications-related stuff? Manage Ops staff? Uh, prepare... reports on things?

And then you guys will be like :frogout:

:eng99:

(I exaggerate, of course, but I will admit to a fair amount of 'winging it'.)

On this note, I was just trying to check the logs for Monday's Sentinel log and... there's a lot less than I remember there being last time I checked... have they all disappeared or something?

I had a suggestion for the vessel rosters which you kind of touched on with ship specifications...

It would be nice to have a quick reference on the site for each class of active vessel as to how many decks, how the decks are laid out, what's on each deck, etc - we have a text version of this on the Atlantis site that's come in handy, but it would be even nicer to have it in a color-coded graphical format (though I realize that may be asking for the moon).

Now, if we could access that from the main website, it would be a grand day :p
