Sigma Rho Arc #5 - New Beginnings

Postby James Greenman » Fri May 20, 2016 6:15 pm

TO: Lieutenant Commander Marsland, Executive Officer, SIGMA RHO STATION
CC: Department Heads, SIGMA RHO STATION

Mission Briefing

Time is short, and we've finally been given the go-ahead from Starfleet Command to return to the Sigma Rho and get her back into an operational capacity. We're pretty far down on the Sigma-refresh list so try not to break too many things, we'll need them in the next few months. You have your orders, if you're on this list then you're transferring with the rest of us off of the Jormungandr. Welcome to Sigma Rho, everyone.

XO: Mister Marsland, coordinate with the rest of the task-force. Jormungandr leads the way, I don't want the repair tugs or the drydock they're pulling anywhere near the 'Rho until we're clear. I don't want to find that the Tzenkethi turned our FoF and we start firing on them as soon as we restore power.

AUX: Henry, you're going to be in Main Engineering for a little while. I want a full damage report, what's broken, what can be fixed and what needs to be replaced. Take your team and don't go anywhere without a security escort. Once that's complete, assist Lieutenant Idaris with her search for sabotage. Make internal sensors your priority.

CTO: Lieutenant Idaris, make sure that everyone is equipped with a phaser - no exceptions - and that security details are posted to every deck and at least one member of your team is with every expedition. Then I want you to scour the 'Rho's systems with a fine-tooth comb, think about what you would do to sabotage a station you were leaving and make sure the Tzenkethi didn't do it.

MED: Cadet, we don't have a Chief Physician onboard so I'm throwing you right into the deep end. Get Sickbay cleaned out and prepped, I want you able to handle anything from a scraped knee to brain surgery in one hour.

The Jormungangr will remain in-system for support if we need it. I'll see you all in the transporter room in six hours.

Mission Briefing, Stardate 11607.03

Now that we're onboard and the warp core should soon be back online, our next goals are to get internal sensors, environmental controls and damage control online. Once we've done that, we can start organising teams for the worst affected areas and get this station buttoned up tight.

XO: Tom, good work re-attaching the ODN relays. The bridge seems to be connected to the systems again, time we started looking at other things. Coordinate with Henry, find the worst affected areas and start getting teams sent to them.

AUX: Mister Sumner, good work with the core. Oversee the boot up sequence and then start patching systems. Check in with your time in environmental, get damage control functions up, the main computer core and internal sensors. I know the list is long, Henry, but I trust you have a handle on things. Work with Commander Marsland on duty assignments.

CTO: Lieutenant, I want you to start making sweeps, deck by deck, once internal sensors are back online. Three-person teams. I don't know what you're going to find, probably nothing, hopefully nothing, but I'm betting that the Tzenkethi left a few surprises for us before they pulled out.

Good luck, everyone. Check in with the bridge every thirty minutes.

There's something loose on the station. All teams are on point, and if the computer was back up I'd have initiated a red alert. Keep your eyes and ears open, everyone.

XO: Tom, coordinate with the teams from the front. I want you out there looking for this thing. Stun if you can, kill if you have to. If it is Tzenkethi then I'd rather avoid an incident...

CTO: Work with Commander Maryland and coordinate the placement of your security teams. See if we can corner it somewhere, make sure everything is locked down - remember that the station is still not at 100%, don't trust that those forcefield are actually up.

AUX: Henry, I want transporters up and we need to see if we can get a lock on this thing. I don't know if it's our systems, the piggy back from Jormungandr or what, but I can't pinpoint it.

CSO: Ensign, you're getting a trial by fire here. I want you in EVA, on the station as soon as you can. Begin your investigation into what this thing could be, the best way to capture it and what tactics we could employ.

AUX2: Commander, report to the Sigma Rho when you can and assist with coordinating the teams from Ops.
